Memories of moments shared with family and friends during vacation made me long to make this delicious Filipino specialty one day…though it took me 27 years to finally make it and in a place far from where I first tasted it, I am just happy to know that it is never too late to accomplish ideas which have been set aside…

2 cups rice flour
8 grams baking powder
¾ cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups coconut milk = 400 ml
2 Tablespoons water
1 Tablespoon aniseed

Blend flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add milk and water, and aniseed, mix until smooth. Line muffin or puto molds with butter, fill cups 2/3 full and steam for 15 – 20 minutes. Serve hot with butter or shredded fresh coconut.

Oh! I used my KitchenAid to make my work easier!
