A friend asked me, knowing that I recently visited Amsterdam a month ago, what I think were the interesting things to do if one have only 4-5 days available to visit the city. I told her that for me, these are the places and things to do for a short trip visit:
1.) Van Gogh Museum
2.) Piazza Dam and the Royal Palace
3.) Red Light District
4.) Volendam, Marken, Windmills and Canal cruise
5.) Albert Cuyp market, De Pijp
6.) De Hallen
7.) the food…
10. Just strolling around…
12.) Anne Frank house – It was not possible to take a picture of this historical house, but I was really glad that I was able to visit one of Amsterdam’s points of interest. I read the story of this unfortunate girl and her family. Do hope that this sad event will make people realize the value of Peace, Compassion, Empathy and Love.
Oh! This list is not complete enough to describe all the interesting things to do and to learn in Amsterdam. Wishing everyone a pleasant day!
Dear everyone, today was truly one of the best moments of my life! Until now, I’m still overwhelmed by all the species of plants that I saw in this extremely wonderful Botanical garden. It’s true that this is one of the places here in Italy that I hoped to visit, now that I have visited it, I must say that ” this place was something that is extraordinarily interesting and well organized that it left me with such sense of awe that at 3 a.m. in the morning I am still here savoring yesterday’s event”. I think this is truly a place to visit (Just park the car – the parking fee at Prato della Valle, Padova is not that cheap but for what you can see in this particular site – the Botanical garden is just 7 minutes away from the Basilica of St. Anthony di Padua – what I paid for parking my car was totally worth it! – and walk to the Botanical garden – There are indications for the Botanical garden or if you cannot find one. you can also ask someone for directions. Oh! there is a time capsule with messages and seeds of peace in the garden!
Thankful to all those persons who made this very valuable experience possible. For those who love nature or just simply touch the essence of it, this is a place that will really make you feel so lucky to be part of a wonderful and priceless painting entitled – LIFE.

As our bus of the “Bigbus Tour” entered the center of the city, it was really so awesome to travel in the midst of these modern and incredibly beautiful Skyscrapers of Philadelphia. Wow! in certain angles they seem like mirrors reflecting the sky, another building and the light that changes at different moments of the day seemed to give a new color to them. Skyscrapers like these can also be as interesting as some some historical buildings in Europe.
